It is with profound sorrow that the Omaha community mourns the passing of Andrew Klein, a devoted lawyer, cherished family member, and beloved friend. Andrew’s loss has left an immeasurable void in the hearts of all who knew him, and his memory will forever remain a source of love and inspiration.
Andrew was known for his sharp intellect, charismatic personality, and infectious wit. A graduate of Creighton University School of Law, he carried a lifelong passion for learning, often immersing himself in books, podcasts, and thoughtful conversations. He was a devoted film enthusiast with an impressive knowledge of cinema and television, always ready with a recommendation that never disappointed.
His impeccable sense of style set him apart, and he was famously the best dressed in any room. Andrew had a playful spirit and delighted in life’s simple joys — snacks, trivia nights, and the daily crossword puzzle were among his favorite rituals.
Above all, Andrew treasured his family. He was a loving son, brother, uncle, and friend, and nothing brought him greater happiness than spending time with his nieces and nephew, who were truly the center of his world. His love, laughter, and presence enriched the lives of those around him in countless ways.
Andrew is survived by his devoted parents, Harry and Janet Klein; his siblings Sara (Nick), Daniel (Corinne), Laura (Gus), Jacob (Morgan), and Emma; and his cherished nieces Ruby, Leyna, and Eliana, and nephew Abram. He will also be remembered fondly by extended family, friends, colleagues, and all who were fortunate enough to know him.
Family and friends are invited to gather at Beth El Synagogue, 14506 California Street, Omaha, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 4, to share memories, offer comfort, and honor Andrew’s life.
